Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship


My research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, venture capital and private equity. My papers on performance measurement, the socio-economic drivers of vibrant venture capital markets, the role of government sponsored venture capital programs, and entrepreneurial finance contracting have been published in the Journal of Corporate Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the European Economic Review, Research Policy, the Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of International Money and Finance, the European Financial Management Journal, the Journal of Alternative Investments, the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, the Emerging Markets Review, and in Venture Capital, among others. I am a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, USA, at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, at IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain, and at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. Before my Phd, I had an educational background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
